About the Artist Sarah Renzi Sanders is a contemporary surreal painter born in Washington D.C. in 1985. After ten years of teaching art to children, Renzi decided to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time artist. Best known for her vibrant color palette and meditative landscapes, the artist is deeply inspired by the patterns and cycles of the natural world. Renzi has participated in international online exhibitions and national juried exhibitions in the greater D.C. metro area, Philadelphia, and New York.
In 2022, the artist co-founded Girls Who Paint Studio Gallery to create space for underrepresented artists and make art more accessible to her community. Renzi currently resides in Kensington, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C. with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
